Passionate about Quality
Cailo Chocolate is Perth's only bean-to-bar chocolate company. We're passionate about chocolate, so we've been on a journey of discovery. On this journey, we discovered that making good chocolate starts in the rainforest. Sourcing high quality cocoa beans is essential for making high quality chocolate. Like good winemakers say: "Good wine is made in the vineyard, not the winery." The same applies for great chocolate.
We rely on cocoa farmers in Panama and on the Solomon Islands to nurture these fascinating trees with their coloured pods and then harvest and ferment the beans according to methods handed down over many generations. Once the beans arrive in Perth, we combine them with the finest Australian ingredients to create Cailo Chocolate.
We believe that producing excellent chocolate requires great ingredients and attention to details that can't be achieved in a large-scale industrial environment. This is why we hand-craft our chocolate in small batches here in Perth. We hope you enjoy the results of our efforts as much as we do!
